Meet Richard Rodriguez

Richard Rodriguez founded Peninsula Construction over 30 years ago in Watsonville, California. What started as a small general contracting operation has grown into one of the most trusted construction companies in Santa Cruz County — built entirely on referrals and repeat clients.

Richard obtained his CSLB General Building license (#723364) in 1996 and has never stopped building. Over the years, he's completed hundreds of projects across the Central Coast — from garage conversions and kitchen remodels to full ADU builds and ground-up residential development.

As a real estate investor himself for over 12 years, Richard brings a unique perspective to every ADU project: he doesn't just build your unit, he helps you understand the return on your investment.
